There are milestones in life that have real meaning. As Lee Marine turns 25, we’ve taken the opportunity to look back at how we started and reflect on how the industry has changed since we first opened our doors. Over the next few months you’ll see some old photos appearing on our Facebook page – thanks for so many great comments so far.

I’m pretty sure that many of you reading this newsletter  have played some part in our story, and maybe you even have a few Lee Marine stories of your own.

Whatever your connection to Lee Marine we’d like to thank you for trusting us, teaching us, and sharing your time with us. It’s an honour to share our anniversary with you.

There’s a lot going on, which is great to see, and as the world gets back to normal it’s time to get out and explore again. We hope to see you soon in Southeast Asia.

Lee Marine proudly celebrates 25 years

1997 was a year of change. Hong Kong was just handed back to China, the Asian financial crisis started after the Thai government floated the Baht, and in the only marina in Phuket, a young Josh Lee had a boat he needed to sell.
