Nauta Air 111’ MY Hyhma is a very special project, for an owner whose goal is to explore the oceans and face the Northwest Passage. The vessel is engineered by Dutch Vripack and is ‘Light’ Ice Class, with highly CFD optimized hull with bulbous bow and enhanced scantlings on the hull and rudders for sailing in ice conditions.
As per Shipyard DNA, we’ve fully customized the vessel, including modified bulwarks on foredeck which will allow the Owner to pursue her hobby of marine mammals photographer. Exterior and interior by Nauta Design.
Engines are burning 57 l/h @ 9,7 knots. At this speed, including 10 l/hr burnt by generators, range is 6.100 nautical miles. Top speed of 13,6 Knot. Find attached the relevant curves.
Also, in terms of noise comfort, the results are well above yachting standard: at 9,5 knots, noise level on Owner Cabin is 42,1 dB and on main salon is 47,5 dB.
