Australia’s favourite and most-awarded luxury motor yacht builder Riviera will demonstrate its great prowess for design and craftsmanship with an exceptional four-model showcase at the upcoming Newport International Boat Show from 15-18 September 2016.
The latest Riviera designs on display at Newport, Rhode Island, reflect how the acclaimed marque is continuing to enhance the fun and lifestyle fulfilment of its growing international family of over 5200 owners.

On display in Newport, Rhode Island, will be the 5400 design from Riviera’s very stylish Sport Yacht collection, the 52 Enclosed and 43 Open models from the supremely seaworthy Flybridge collection.
Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht
The luxurious 5400 Sport Yacht features an array of alfresco lifestyle features and up to three staterooms – including a full-beam master stateroom – two bathrooms, a gourmet aft galley and luxurious salon.
“You’ll also be impressed when seated at the luxury sports-inspired center-line helm console, with Volvo Penta’s Glass Cockpit navigation and systems monitoring features as well the incredible versatility of the 5400 courtesy of one of two joysticks at her helm and in her cockpit,” he said.
Base power for the 5400 is the Volvo Penta D11-IPS800 propulsion system with twin D11 engines and IPS20 pod-drives (2 x 441kW/626hp). Owners have the option of the D11-IPS950 system featuring twin D11 engines and IPS20 pod-drives (2 x 533kW/725hp). With commercial ratings of Class 4 and Class 5 respectively, these systems assure enhanced reliability.
Riviera 52 Enclosed Flybridge
The 52 Enclosed Flybridge is testament to Riviera’s genuine desire and commitment to being amongst the best of the luxury motor yacht builders globally.
“Her innovative cockpit design openly connects to a superbly equipped aft galley and spacious salon via a large awning window and sliding glass door while the new three-sided enclosed flybridge layout with internal staircase incorporates supreme comfort with a modern command center and dash,” said Mr McCafferty.
Featuring a flexible three-stateroom/two-bathroom accommodation plan – with the master able to be located forward or aft on the portside – the 52 model is powered by the Volvo Penta D11-IPS950 system with twin diesel engines and IPS20 pod-drives (2 x 533kW/725hp).
Riviera 43 Open Flybridge
Incorporating great function and style within a supremely comfortable, sea-kindly hull, the 43 Open features a free-flowing alfresco environment from her expansive cockpit through to her elegant saloon. Her flybridge is easily accessible via the Riviera design ‘stair-ladder’ and offers 360-degree vision with minimal interruption thanks to the structural hardtop canopy.
The 43 Open’s master stateroom is positioned forward and there’s a full-beam guest stateroom amidships, as well as two bathrooms.
Popular power in this versatile motor yacht is via the Volvo Penta D6-IPS600 IPS2-600 system with twin diesel engines and IPS10 pod-drives (2 x 320kW/435hp).
