The 24.58-metre Riviera 78 Motor Yacht, which is currently in build by Riviera Yachts in Australia, has been sold. The sale was completed by Joshua Lee of Lee Marine in Thailand.The 78 Motor Yacht features naval architecture from her builder, Riviera Yachts, with both her interior and exterior penned by Luca Vallebona. The yacht can be customised to her owner’s preferences, with options such as an enclosed or open bridge deck.
Interior layout options include a main saloon, which can be configured as a grand lounge or a combined formal dining and living space. The 78 Motor Yacht can feature a semi-enclosed or fully-covered aft deck. The bridge deck is accessed via a timber staircase from the main saloon. Here, guests can enjoy a lounge, entertainment space and al fresco dining area.
The yacht can accommodate as many as 10 guests across four staterooms, including a full-beam master suite, situated amidships, which is complete with a king-sized bed and en suite his-and-hers bathrooms. The remaining accommodations include a VIP stateroom forward, with its own en suite bathroom, and two staterooms to the port and starboard. Guest accommodations are accessed via a staircase from the main saloon.
Her deck space includes a spacious foredeck, which can be finished in multiple configurations, such as with a sun awning or the option to store a tender or a Jet Ski and davit. A garage is found to her port side with additional storage for water sports gear, fishing and diving equipment and a shower. A swim platform to the aft is complete with teak decking and a swim ladder.
Performance-wise, the 78 Motor Yacht will sport twin MAN diesel engines with a combined 3,600 horsepower.
The first hull of the 78 Motor Yacht will be delivered to her owner, a repeat Riviera client, in Phuket in early 2022.
