A new era of Elandess has begun today in Bremen where Abeking & Rasmussen has launched the 74-metre superyacht project known as 6502. The project was first revealed in July last year when it was in an advanced stage of construction after the steel hull and aluminium superstructure were joined.
At 2,065 Gross Tonnes, Elandess is characterised by a plumb ‘Atlantic’ bow, designed in a collaboration between the shipyard, Burgess and design house Harrison Eidsgaard from London who drew the exterior lines and created all interior spaces on board.
The master suite is placed forward on the main deck with an observation lounge directly above on the upper deck. A unique Nemo lounge with portholes below the waterline will give guests a new perspective of the cruising grounds they explore. Outside, a stand-out feature will be the 8 x 2.25-metre pool that is located on the massive sun deck.
With construction managed by Burgess, Elandess will now head off on sea trials after which she will be handed over to her owner in the summer season.
