Benetti has launched the 63-metre superyacht Metis, their latest fully-custom project for a German owner who was introduced by the project management company, Yacht Moments.
The new superyacht, built with a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, entered the water at Benetti’s Livorno shipyard showing off her five deck and exterior lines designed by Benetti and Giorgio M. Cassetta Design. Design studio Bannenberg & Rowell designed the interiors, including a twin cabin and adjacent nanny suite as well as four guest cabins for up to 12 guests. Metis’ owner can enjoy a 162-square-metre upper deck apartment with a panoramic view, two bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, day area with sofa and television and outdoor terrace and a touch and go helipad on the owner’s deck.
Metis will keep her guests entertained in luxurious living areas such as the lower deck beach club, main saloon, and custom 20-square-metre sundeck gym. The superyacht’s interior decor has been designed in cooperation with the German designer, Birgit Otte who have incorporated bleached oak with leather inserts and carbon fibre throughout.
“Benetti has confirmed its international yacht building reputation for excellence in quality and reliability. The shipyard has successfully interpreted my desires and needs to perfection. I am particularly satisfied with the unique owner’s cabin, which represents the perfect example of customisation and excellence”, said the yacht’s owner.
“While every launch is the source of great pride for us, Metis represents something special: her owner, together with Yacht Moments, allows us to enhance our presence in the strategically important German market. As always, we are very pleased to act as spokespeople for ‘Made in Italy’ excellence worldwide,” commented Benetti CEO, Franco Fusignani.
