Singapore. 24 November, 2009. Lee Marine, Thailand’s leading yacht and service company, unveiled the first Pershing 80’ super yacht in Asia direct from Italy at a glittering ceremony in Singapore’s Keppel Bay Marina.
Owned by prominent Singapore businessman Anil Thadani, the 80ft. “Cavallino” is designed by Fulvio de Simone, one of the world’s top super yacht designers, and is the latest in a long line of Pershing super yachts out of its Mondolfo, Italy yard.
Said Lee Marine Managing Director, Joshua Lee, who spent two weeks trialling the Pershing 80’ with Mr Thadani in the Adriatic Sea: “ It is not often you get the opportunity to spend quality time on such a quality boat. The “Cavallino” performed superbly throughout the trial. Lee Marine is honoured to bring the first Pershing 80 to Asia.”
Attending the high net worth ceremony was Mr Till Antonelli, Chairman and Founder of Pershing S.p.A., who built the boat. Mr Antonelli travelled from Italy specially for the event.

The “Cavallino” is destined for luxury cruising in the Andaman Sea around Phuket, Thailand, Indonesia and beyond..
Two x 2435 hp MTU engines give a maximum speed of 51 knots and a cruising speed of 41 knots.
The Pershing 80’ features four double cabins and three bathrooms, plus one crew cabin and bathroom.
It has many outstanding features, including the famous minimalistic design of Fulvio de Simone, the designer, with elegant soft leather furnishings and finishings from Poltrona Frau, the top Italian international luxury furniture design group.
Other features include a large glass screen dividing the saloon from the cockpit; special SCRIMP moulding [a stitched mat and woven process that allows good control of laminate weight and thickness] for the fiberglass hull, a walkway that can be used as a swim ladder or gangway and an extendable hard top.
