We are pleased to
announce that we have just sold a Crownline 266 Sport
Cuddy to a local person, the first such sale since
Crownline resumed production in August last year. The
new owner traded in his Crownline 18SSS for the new
Crownline 266.
And according to all
reports he has never been happier. So are we after the
somewhat chequered history of Crownline in recent years.
The Illinois, USA based company ceased operations in
late 2008, but resumed manufacturing in August. Lee
Marine has remained a loyal and valued broker of
Crownline throughout. As the agents in this area we sold
a lot of Crownline boats in the early years.
And it is a very nice
boat this new Crownline 266 Sport Cuddy. It takes 10
people. There is an engine combination covering six
types of engines, from the Merc350 MAG MPI Bravo III 300
hp to the Merc496 MAG Ho Bravo III 425 hp.
Features include a
dining area in the cabin that converts easily to a
V-bunk, standard stainless steel sink, fresh running
water and cherry wood cabinets in the galley and the
optional social swim transom has external splash-proof
speakers and conveniently built in fender storage.
Canvas includes colour
keyed full stand up top with quick disconnect hardware,
a clear front Bimini connector, side and aft curtains,
an embroidered boot, stainless steel tuning and hardware
and retractable legs.
There is a curved
tinted safety glass walk-through windshield, diamond
anti-skid surface, an enclosed head compartment with
shower, sink, vanity and shower sump pump. An extended
swim platform offers full beam wrap around with handle
and four step boarding ladder with diamond non-skid
surface.
Inside there is a
premium Sony marine stereo with single disc player and
four speakers with a remote at the helm. The iPod can be
plugged straigh in, of course.
