The Ferretti 560 is an important
addition to the Ferretti range and has been designed to
offer exceptional space and light throughout the
boat.
Large windows enhance natural light
in the saloon and the accommodation deck offers a full
beam master cabin and a further two guest cabins, each
boasting en-suite bathrooms.
Exterior:
The
profile of the Ferretti 560 is sleek and sporty. The
new, larger windows are prominent and make for superb
views from the saloon. Hull windows to the master cabin
and forward VIP cabin add to the remarkable feeling of
spaciousness.
The
cockpit features a sofa bench aft, which also provides
access to the large storage area or optional crew cabin
which is sure to be a popular choice in Asia. To port,
the furniture conceals an icemaker and connects to the
galley when the rear tilting window is opened. Having
the galley positioned aft means that serving to the
cockpit is done with ease and, with the aft window in
the open position, the saloon, galley and cockpit become
one uninterrupted area which is perfect when at anchor
or entertaining guests.
The
flybridge is reached via the cockpit stairs and is one
of the largest flybridges in its class. Bimini covers
provide shade and there is a spacious lounge area with
sofas for eight people, extendable table and grill area
with fridge. The helm position is to starboards, and a
sunpad is found forward. A further sun lounge with
sunpad is on the bow on the main deck.
Interior:
Onboard,
natural light dominates and is enhanced by the warm
tones of materials and the bleached oak wood furniture.
The fully equipped galley is aft portside with cabinetry
opposite. The saloon sofas are long and positioned
either side of the salon for excellent views and a
sociable atmosphere. A discreetly positioned pop-up
TV is available when needed. The lower helm is raised
and offers excellent visibility.
The night
zone features a layout unique to this size of yacht,
with three cabins, two with a double bed and one with
twin beds, and three bathrooms. The master cabin has
been positioned in the centre of the yacht and is full
beam. It has a large wardrobe, a sofa and private
bathroom and is illuminated by two large open-view
windows. For the other guests on board, the Ferretti 560
offers a double cabin in the bow with bathroom, and a
twin cabin with double-access bathroom.
Interior Décor:
Much
thought has gone into the interior design of this yacht
in order to find the perfect balance between
functionality, comfort and luxury. The bleached oak wood
enhances the brightness of the spaces whilst carefully
chosen contrasting leathers, trims and materials combine
to showcase the interior and make it an incredibly warm
and inviting place to be.
Engineering and
Performance:
The Ferretti 560
sports twin MAN V8-900HP main
engines that take the yacht effortlessly to a cruise
speed of 28 knots and maximum speed of 32 knots.
Tropical grade air-conditioning is available, also to
the crew cabin, and the Anti-Rolling Gyro may be
specified for increased comfort on board.
This is
a very complete package and is perfectly suited to
cruising in Thailand. The shaded cockpit area that opens
to the saloon and galley, the large flybridge, the open
plan saloon with large windows, the 3 cabin/3 head plus
crew layout all combine to make this one of the most
exciting new models for 2010.
