The Conyplex yard in the Netherlands have a long history of producing fine cruising yachts designed by Dick Zaal. All the yachts are built with longevity and attention to every detail as guiding principles. The 46 center cockpit was amongst their most popular designs and it is easy to see why.
She has a solid, quality feel about her and when you open a locker or lift the cabin sole one is immediately aware that this is no ordinary production boat. This particular yacht is offered for sale by her owner who has always maintained her immaculately. There is nothing a new owner would need to spend before setting off around the world. Right down to tools, spares and safety gear she is complete. Well...... Maybe a bit of food would be useful.
The three cabin layout is very versatile and the aft owners cabin is huge. There is an enormous amount of storage space aboard as this yacht is designed to go cruising. The fore and aft galley is perfect at sea and nowhere are you without sensible, strong handholds. The nav station has dedicated stowage for tools and her B&G electronics along with Simrad plotter is excellent.
On deck all sail handling is set up for shorthanded work with a furling main and headsail. All sails are in good condition and there is an unused cruising chute in snuffer included. Teak decks are in perfect shape and the davits aft make tender stowage a one man job. A single electric winch is a useful addition to the cockpit area. Her main engine and genset have both recently been replaced so will last for many years. Fully air conditioned and with a very extensive inventory, the owner includes Australian Customs duty and GST in the asking price which is phenomenal offer and takes all the guesswork out of a buyer taking her back to Australia.
